Gen Intrinsic is designed to support the spleen, lymph, and immune health and fortify against xenobiotic factors and the congestion they invariably create within the Intra and Extra Cellular Matrices (ICM and ECM).*
The botanicals in Gen Intrinsic have been used traditionally in various combinations for over a hundred years as a cleansing and decongesting remedy for the blood, spleen, liver, bowel, and kidneys.
While Gen Intrinsic is reminiscent of the principle of the Hoxsey formula, it also bears a striking resemblance to traditional North American indigenous and Naturopathic approaches; and as an old red clover-based formula, Syrup Trifolium Compound, which emphasized the use of alternatives in most healing strategies.
The Hoxsey formula’s real purpose was never meant to kill pathogenic cells directly. Instead, it was an attempt to create an overall terrain unfavorable to the growth of abnormal cells. Simultaneously, its effect was the enhancement of the body’s own immune response and capacity to eliminate toxins. From this perspective, botanical combinations similar in principle (e.g., Burdock Intrinsic, Trifolo Intrinsic, Scrofulara Intrinsic) have great merit. If a xenobiotic, or its metabolites, are rapidly eliminated from the body, it is less likely that it will be able to concentrate and damage critical cells. Circulating lymph and blood are central to this vital eliminatory process. Lifestyle, biological stresses, microbes like bacteria and yeast, and toxins from viruses and parasites contribute to the xenobiotic burden. Eventually, blood and lymph thicken and become sluggish and stagnant, placing additional pressure on the spleen. This vascular lymphoid organ gets congested, and lymph glands become swollen and painful.
