Recent studies on remedies containing Cat's Claw and Fenugreek indicate that they can open the way to cleanse the entire intestinal tract and may be effective in treating stomach and bowel disorders, such as Crohn's disease, ulcers, gastritis, diverticulitis, and other inflammatory conditions of the bowel, stomach, and intestines.
Both Cat's Claw and the botanical Fenugreek are employed around the world in eclectic medicine for a variety of conditions. In vitro studies show that constituents of this plant enhance phagocytosis, display immunomodulatory properties, alleviate inflammation, and possess antiviral and antimutagenic activities.
