Product Overview

Guggulipid Intrinsic is a powerful remedy combining Spagyrically processed organic guggulipid and green tea to support the cardiovascular system and may promote sound liver and biliary tree health.*

With the addition of green tea, an extra concentration of highly concentrated, powerful antioxidant polyphenols helps to prevent atherosclerosis, specifically coronary artery disease. In this regard, it serves as a cardio protectant and free radical scavenger. Research shows that guggulsterones may help to soothe inflammation and support the immune system in the case of joint pain, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid Arthritis. Its analgesic effect may also help manage pain in certain arthritic conditions. These powerful phytotherapeutics work synergistically to improve blood lipid profiles, protect against free radical damage, increase bile flow, eliminate catabolites from the liver, and protect the cytochrome P450 enzymes against drug-induced damage.

Guggulipid has also been shown to lower blood sugar, C-reactive protein levels (a marker of inflammation), and blood pressure. This remedy would, therefore, be of particular interest to diabetics who have an elevated risk of heart and circulatory problems. Guggulipid has a slight stimulating effect on the thyroid gland and may increase iodine uptake by the thyroid. It also has the effect of increasing fecal excretion of bile acids, which helps to activate the conversion of hormones in the liver to assist with thyroid hormone conjugation while reducing joint stiffness. This, in turn, affects the metabolic rate and may be responsible for the beneficial effects of guggulipid on weight loss.

Guggulipid Intrinsic provides the polyphenols and hypolipidemic compounds necessary to support the breakdown and lower cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDLs while increasing HDL in the blood, and may contribute to more efficient production of biochemically balanced bile. This then could help to prevent atherosclerotic plaquing and inhibit platelet aggregation while improving circulation to the heart muscle in its role as a cardio protectant.
