Product Overview

Jambola is an ethno-Botanical and mineral blend to help maintain healthy glucose and may support insulin levels, metabolic syndromes, lowering A1-C levels, and Alzheimer's.*

When it comes to orchestrating all endocrine activity, the proper release, production, and utilization of insulin, for instance, is directly associated with cortisol. Whereas insulin maintains the upper parameters of blood sugar, cortisol maintains the lower parameters, keeping it from going too low. So, when are we going to see abnormal spiking in cortisol values? When we have a patient who has sub-optimal glucose utilization or output, or more simply put, hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia may simply be a symptom of a more significant problem, malabsorption interrelationships to cortisol and the survival mechanisms.

Diabetes is rooted in insulin resistance and, perhaps more importantly, a malfunction of leptin signaling caused by chronically elevated insulin and leptin levels.

Insulin is a master multi-tasker that helps with neuron glucose uptake and the regulation of neurotransmitters (acetylcholine) crucial for memory and learning. This is why reducing the level of insulin in the brain impairs cognition.

While much conventional advice centers around insulin, leptin is another hormone that may play an integral role in developing type 2 diabetes. Leptin is produced in adipose and other cells, and one of its primary roles is regulating appetite and body weight. Insulin and leptin resistance work in tandem. Leptin is mainly responsible for the accuracy of insulin signaling and whether or not the patient becomes insulin resistant.
